About PAHAL Foundation

Pahal Foundation is a grassroots non-profit organization committed to advancing the rights, dignity, and inclusion of gender and sexual minorities (GSM) and other marginalized communities. Established with a vision of creating a just and equitable society, Pahal Foundation works at the intersection of social justice and inclusion, HIV and health, mental health, education, skill building and livelihoods.

We believe in a community-led approach that centers the voices and leadership of those most affected by discrimination and exclusion. Our work spans across urban and rural regions of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh with a special focus on building safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals, youth, women, persons with disabilities, and people from underrepresented castes and communities.
